Anodising Kit

The supplied rectifier is the key to this small but powerful anodising kit, it also allows for cadmium plating.

Includes the new switch mode continuous power supply.

This unit supplies high current 20amps output in a light weight compact size case. It is suitable for Anodising as the initial voltage can be set at 30 volts also it is suitable for a variety of other uses including Selective Area Electroplating. In addition the variable output from 3 - 30 volts can be selected to suit the plating application from pre-treatment to copper nickel or Cadmium plating.

The Chromic Acid Anodising Solution will typically give a coverage of 43 sq inches at a thickness of 0.001" (1 thou) The Clean & Deoxidising solution used with power will strip the existing Anodised coat prior to re anodising.

Cadmium Plating Kit

For Cadmium Plating on to High Tensile Steels particularly for the aerospace industry with no post baking required this is an ideal addition to the repair workshop.
Cadmium Plating normally done in an Electroplating workshop can now for small area repairs and touch-up can be carried out in your own workshop WITHOUT THE NEED TO POST BAKE FOR HYDROGEN EMBRITTLEMENT. This method of application is an approved and specified process by such specs as Mil_Std_865C, AMS 2541 and by such OEM's as Boeing, Airbus, Eurocopter, British Aero Space etc.

 

Dalic Australasia Pty Ltd is certified to carry out training on this and other processes such as Anodising for the Aerospace industry, your operatives will be able to Cadmium Plate the same day as the course.

The Cadmium Plating Solution will typically give a coverage of 350 sq inches at a thickness of 0.001" (1 thou) and with its no bake specification it is ideal for touch up and repairs. Full training and operator certification is also available

This kit is suitable for the more advanced Hobbist who requires both copper and nickel plating on a variety of base metals.
